Nestled 4 miles south of Northallerton & 5 miles north of Thirsk, we are a traditional free house offering home cooked food & fine Yorkshire ale. As well as an ever extending selection of spirits & wines to be enjoyed in our cozy, friendly & relaxed pub.

We pride ourselves on traditional home cooked pub food, using local suppliers and fresh ingredients. We use Thompsons Butchers  of Northallerton for our meat.

We have a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom holiday let to the rear of our village inn. Perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales or neighboring towns & cities of Northallerton, Thirsk, Ripon, York & Harrogate.
